Niagara Falls, Canada, taken on August 3, 2005
Rainbows are one of my favourite things to photography because they’re usually unplanned and unpredictable. The moment Mr. Roy G. Biv shows his face, you know the rain is over…except at Niagara Falls, when the rainbow isn’t necessarily caused by the rain. This photo was taken almost ten years ago (wow?) when Roy decided to form a real rainbow bridge between Canada and the US, and the “Maid of the Mist” happened to be passing below it. A most appropriate scene, no? 🙂
Such a beautiful rainbow.
