The castle in Conwy was an impressive structure looming over the entire town of Conwy, and it looks even more majestic from a distance from the top of the city walls. Now THIS is what a castle should be like! Amazing!
The fact that I am surrounded by such beautiful architecture every day still amazes me. I feel so lucky to be working on such an elegant campus.
[Travel time] One of my favourite places out of the ones I’ve visited in Budapest is the Fishermen’s Bastion. Right beside the Fishermen’s Bastion is Matthias Church, pictured above, with an equestrian statue of St. Stephen I of Hungary in front of it.
This will be my last time seeing this view of the West End from this bedroom, as I am moving tomorrow. The cathedral glows a ghostly white (thanks to the condensation on the window), but the light diminishes silently shortly before midnight.
Wellington Church is a rather impressive structure on the University of Glasgow campus and it reminds me of the Parthenon in Greece. It looks even cooler during the night!
