A beautiful encounter with a royal butterfly – in the royal city of Hue – outside the tomb of Khai Dinh fascinated everyone who was watching. She was unusually cooperative, staying very still as many admirers snapped photos of her. How gorgeous you are!

My favourite thing about the majestic royal palace in Hue, Vietnam are these colourful gateways that are lined up along a corridor. Signs of age adorn them but they are still so beautiful.

Right before taking off from Hong Kong to Siem Reap yesterday, the plane stopped at the perfect spot for me to witness the opening of the sky to let the sun out. The gigantic rays illuminated the layered mountains, and if you look carefully, you could even see the cable cars of Ngong Ping 360 on the right!

On a tour of the Château Rousselle in Bourg, near Bordeaux, this beautiful sculpture in the garden caught my eyes. Perhaps she is one of the wine goddesses, guarding over the châteaux in the region for a good harvest.
