This pool has the most turquoise water I’ve ever seen and I began to wonder if the photos of the Fairy Pools on Skye had really been taken here… 😛 So clear and pure that I wanted to jump in for a swim!

The fact that jellyfish are such intricate creatures fascinates me. There is something about their flow and movement that makes them inexplicably elegant.

Afloat in the clear waters, people relax as they swim and drift down the river Rhine across the city of Basel.
Bergerac, France, taken on October 2, 2011
The waters of the Dordogne river in southwestern France are quite clear, at least a lot clearer than those of the Garonne 😉 There was not a ripple in the water aside from those awaken by the passing boat, and not a cloud was to be seen in the crisp sky. Such a calm and clear day, perfect for a visit to quiet little Bergerac.
Tobermory, Canada, taken on August 13, 2011
This photo, again taken in Tobermory, Canada, reminds me of a place that could be the ends of the earth. It was simply a hidden spot that I found during the hike on Flowerpot Island, yet it felt so mysterious, as if it was the exit of this world and a port to another world. Perhaps if I sailed off into the distance from this exact spot, I could reach infinity. To the ends of the earth…would you follow me?
