I took a walk through Kelvingrove Park last weekend while enjoying the autumn foliage before winter takes over completely. Seems like these two gentlemen had the same idea čśŤ (See the original photo in colour.)

Callander Crags, Scotland, taken on October 31, 2015

I embraced a moment of victory as I reached the Jubilee Cairn when climbing up to the Callander Crags. Oh, what a climb it was – wet, muddy, slippery. More than once I thought I was lost and would be stuck in the middle of nowhere but alas, I made it, sweaty and strained but satisfied!

Conic Hill, Scotland, taken on June 27, 2015

The climb to the top of Conic Hill was strenuous, but very rewarding! The views were amazing and worth every step of the way up! What made the summit even more enjoyable was the bag of white chocolate cookies that I brought with me to recharge my energy. I gotta give myself a pat on the back and a cookie to commend the efforts. Onto higher hills and mountains I go!

Missing the tram just as I get to the station on a Sunday means a 12-minute wait for the next ride, so I decided to walk a station or two. It wasn’t scorching hot like last week, and the 26 degrees Celsius weather was perfect for a short stroll. From Doyen Brus, I walked on the tram tracks slowly to Fran├žois Bordes with 8 minutes to spare, so it made sense to go to the next station, Arts et Metiers.

Where Am I?
