One of the reasons I like watching street artists perform because often they look like they’re having a lot of fun. Take this group of medical students from Porto, for example. Taking some time off from saving lives and performing to earn some extra cash for their expensive tuition (why they were in Geneva I had no clue), they formed a nice little orchestra and amused many passersby, including our group. Some talent they have – we certainly had fun watching them!

Landscapes are one of my favourite types of photos to take, and Switzerland is certainly blessed with some of the most breathtaking landscape I’ve ever seen. In fact, Switzerland was my favourite place in Europe…until I went to Iceland 😉 Mount Rigi is really a magical place, even out of this world, perhaps.

There was one moment throughout my travels where I genuine felt that I was heading to nowhere. That morning, the fog in Lucerne was unusually thick, and on the boat towards Weggis, not a thing could be seen ahead of us and I felt as if the vessel was heading towards the entrance to another world. “No destination, but we are together” was how I felt, but I was alone, with no togetherness, drifting into a land of nowhere.
