March 19, 2014 – Bananas
There was something about the setup of a rack of hanging bananas standing in front of cases and cases of pop in the supermarket that greatly amused my sister and me. My sister noted that “This looks like Donkey Kong’s home” 😛
December 05, 2013 – Chocolate mountain
It’s finally time for the annual ritual…display of the Ferrero Rocher mountain in Auchan! I have to restrain myself from buying a box though because I know if Ferrero Rocher is within reach at home, I’d devour it at the speed of light. Still, the chocolate mountain/hill/pile/pyramid/whatever you want to call it is pretty impressive, and certainly very pretty 😉
September 12, 2012 – Chinese supermarket
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to T&T, and as Florence and I walked around aimlessly today, I was reminded of the university days when we’d make egg tofu and chicken wings and siu mai for dinner. I love Chinese supermarkets for the sheer variety of items they have. Oh, how could I live without them?
