My tour of Hanoi included a ride on a cyclo through the old quarter of the city. It was quite an experience navigating through the busy streets on this three-wheeled vehicle, and I was glad that the elderly gentleman who rode the cyclo knew where he was going as I would have certainly gotten lost if I were to wander around by myself, not to mention probably being hit by one of the countless motorbikes! There is art to be found in every corner of Glasgow, including a mural of a crocodile literally at a corner by a bridge near Charing Cross – a rather fierce and menacing addition to the urban scene!

When I lived in Bordeaux, I passed by a street where white discs were sticking out from the surrounding walls. I had been curious about them for the longest time and till now I don’t understand what they are. Maybe…it is just a peculiar piece of art?!

In Toronto, I don’t take the streetcar often even if I do go downtown, though I would like to avoid the necessary evil that is TTC altogether (which is nearly impossible). However, last time I was in Toronto, I hopped onto one of these very colourful streetcars, and with the old city hall as a backdrop, it actually looked quite cool!

After having a nice burger at Ketchup, my friend and I stepped out to see the beautiful Ashton Lane by night. Lovely place to eat and have a drink with a buddy!
