Rome, Italy, taken on December 17, 2013
There seemed to be some magic on the streets of Rome and some passersby were indeed quite amazed at what man-in-orange did here but…I couldn’t have been the only to have seen through his trick immediately!? It wasn’t really that mysterious, though he did give me the evil eye as I was taking this photo secretly without dropping a coin or two in his can. Then I sneaked away, though I supposed he wouldn’t have been able to catch me even if he wanted to 😛

Madrid, Spain, taken on September 13, 2013
[Reposted because of image error in previous post.] Street performers often are able to transform themselves into art itself and their creativity is endless. In Madrid, Spain, I saw two men who seemed to be able to transmogrify themselves into life-size figurines made of clay. Could have fooled me! (Side note: I had always thought the word “transmogrification” was used only in Harry Potter, but apparently…not. Thanks, WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge 😉 )

The Tin Bin Man is becoming (or has become?) somewhat of a Glaswegian legend. He’s been spotted in various areas around the city centre, and I saw him a few months in front of the Argyle Street mural. His enthusiasm certainly put a big smile on my face. Rock on, buddy!

One of the reasons I like watching street artists perform because often they look like they’re having a lot of fun. Take this group of medical students from Porto, for example. Taking some time off from saving lives and performing to earn some extra cash for their expensive tuition (why they were in Geneva I had no clue), they formed a nice little orchestra and amused many passersby, including our group. Some talent they have – we certainly had fun watching them!
