Ottawa, Canada, taken on May 23, 2016
When I saw the sculpture of this gigantic spider in front of the Notre-Dame in Ottawa, I was quite intrigued and had to go take a closer look. It’s surprising that it hasn’t scared away everyone considering how many people are afraid of spiders. The two ladies taking a selfie definitely weren’t intimidated!

I am definitely not a fan of spiders, but I love to photograph them when I see them. This one was found near the lake, approximately the size of a Canadian toonie, maybe slightly bigger. It reminded me of that time during the summer when I saw the weaving actions of a spider spinning its web. What marvel!
