Mar 05, 2015 – [Thursday] Song Titles: I’ll Stand By You

Wasaga Beach, Canada, taken on August 10, 2005

This photo was taken almost 10 years ago and was probably one of the oldest selfies in my photo collection. My sister and I both looked SO young back then…! I remember I printed out a “certificate” using this photo as a background and gave it to my sister as a “best sister’s award” or something…not to mention she is the ONLY sister I have, heh 😛 It reminds me that I am always there to say, I’ll stand by you, dudette.

Feb 19, 2015 – [Thursday] Song Titles: Thank You for the Music

Budapest, Hungary, taken on December 30, 2014

A little bit of music can add a dash of colour to any city, and street musicians are the hidden gems that bring the melodies to life. These two cute old men, who were performing at the Fishermen’s Bastion in Budapest, warmed my heart with their simple Hungarian melodies and coarse voices. Not only was I hooked on the songs they were playing and singing, but I was also touched by how REAL they were. They may not have been the most professional musicians, but their authenticity and genuine smiles beat any concert performance. Thank you for the music, my dear friends, for the songs that you were singing that brightened up my day.

Feb 05, 2015 – [Thursday] Song Titles: Ends of the Earth

Tobermory, Canada, taken on August 13, 2011

This photo, again taken in Tobermory, Canada, reminds me of a place that could be the ends of the earth. It was simply a hidden spot that I found during the hike on Flowerpot Island, yet it felt so mysterious, as if it was the exit of this world and a port to another world. Perhaps if I sailed off into the distance from this exact spot, I could reach infinity. To the ends of the earth…would you follow me?
