Local Torontonians will probably recognize Honest Ed’s at Bloor and Bathurst as a landmark that defines the culture of the city. Even though I’m not familiar with the area, that big sign still means something to me because I’ve worked there before (even though it was only for two days in total).

January 27, 2013 – Boots
Sales season in France is the reason why I am broke every January and July. Well, I guess I don’t shop much outside of sales season, so I convince myself it’s alright to go crazy shopping just twice in the entire year. I’ve been looking for long boots for a long time and finally got a pair today. Now I wish spring would come sooner so I can wear my dresses with them!
June 10, 2012 – Guangzhou
[No WordPress in China] In search of an Erhu bow for Andy, I ended up around Beijing Road, a pedestrian shopping area in Guangzhou. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a lively Sunday night, as it’s nearly impossible to see anyone out shopping on Sundays in France. What’d you expect, everything is closed. I could only describe the night scene in Guangzhou as splendid, radiant, and dazzling. Really, what is St.Catherine compared with all these massive shopping districts in China?
