If I remember correctly from the description of this wooden sculpture, the only bomb to have hit Stirling during World War II fell on a football field. This sculpture was designed by an elementary school student to commemorate the event.

When I saw the sculpture of this gigantic spider in front of the Notre-Dame in Ottawa, I was quite intrigued and had to go take a closer look. It’s surprising that it hasn’t scared away everyone considering how many people are afraid of spiders. The two ladies taking a selfie definitely weren’t intimidated!

I love sculptures and I’ve seen a fair share of strange ones, like this kid…choking a goose? Maybe there’s a dark story behind it…who knows.

As I had mentioned last week, Lisbon is full of amazing public art. I really have no idea how the artist did it, but the sandy guy on the right was peeing right into the well! Impressive…and amusing!
