I’m not sure if the child in the foreground is a part of the large group in the back, but this scene amused me as the kid “led” the way uphill, though it was almost as if she was oblivious to the group behind her.

I was not at all surprised to see this amusing sign in France, where no one ever refuses a good cup of wine at any time of the day. And this couldn’t be more true in Saint-Émilion, one of the most famous wine-making regions in France. Well, let’s drink, shall we?
The branches in the vineyards are bald during the winter season but that doesn’t stop me from bringing my dad to Saint-Émilion, a must-do side trip from Bordeaux. Wine, wine, and more wine…indeed, this city knows no boundary when it comes to wine.
