My one-day trip to Macau included a stop at an abandoned shipyard, which was on the island of Coloane, if I remember correctly. Aged and tattered is how I would describe it, with an air of mystery too, if I may add. (See the original photo in colour.)

No new photo challenge this week so I’ll do another one for last week’s. Cabo da Roca is located in Portugal and is the westernmost point in mainland Europe, at the very edge of the continent. Coincidentally another Portugal post following last week’s challenge 😉
Óbidos, Portugal, taken on April 28, 2013
Óbidos is a lovely little town in Portugal surrounded by a wall on top of which you could walk. And that was exactly what I did with my buddies when we visited. Walking around on the edge of the wall, the entire town is in front of your eyes and you really get quite a perspective of the age of this place!

As I was waiting for the bus to come pick me up near Ellenabeich on the Isle of Seil after a great hike yesterday, I noticed that the bus shelter was actually a mirror that reflected the road, the hill, and the cottage up ahead. It was getting chilly so I was glad that the bus came soon after!

In the Angkor Wat, the doorways lined along one of the corridors acted as the perfect frame for this lady who was sitting on a step with a cryptic expression on her face. I wondered what was on her mind…
