The stark contrast between the red peppers and green vegetables at a market in Bologna drew me close, and at that moment I wanted to grab a bunch of peppers and make a nice mapo tofu! Mmmm đŸ™‚
Post 600 goes to…Pimientos de PadrĂ³n! The trip to Mercado de San Miguel was certainly a very wise idea as we managed to eat some awesome tapas before the conference began. These are just green peppers from a place called PadrĂ³n, fried and salted. They’re just green peppers, right? Then how do they taste ridiculously delicious??? It is seriously beyond my understanding. This tapas is on par with another one that I’ve tried (patatas bravas) as my favourite. Gah, Spain, you make me indulge! (Side note: I can’t believe I’ve been doing this a-picture-a-day thing for 600 days straight…O_O)
