One of the coolest view of l’Arc de Triomphe in Paris is seen from the interior. At the top of the spiral staircase leading to the viewing deck, you see this looking down – spectacular. If I didn’t tell you that this is l’Arc de Triomphe, you would have probably believed me if I told you that it were the inside of a shell 😛

A flower may be sweet, but be careful of its thorns. Again I am reminded of the Little Prince’s rose who has four ridiculous thorns to defend herself against the world…

In St. Paul’s Village in Paris, there was a wall of photos of spherical shapes and patterns in the form of a grid. At first glance I thought these were various forms of chocolate balls…or maybe they were? More amusing still was the wooden figure at the bottom of the wall, almost blending in with the photos but seemingly screaming for help with the words, “Libère moi…fais pas le con!” which would mean something along the lines of “Free me…stop screwing around!” XD

I wandered through the empty streets of a deserted Paris before dawn. What a stark contrast with its usual bustle…!

Paris is definitely not one of my favourite travel destinations, not even close, but many of my “Travel Favs” photos do include the Eiffel Tower because it makes everything feel so…delicate, even as a backdrop. Only during the night though. One must wonder here, what is the abandoned Heineken bottle doing in central Paris on this beautiful, moon-lit night?
