Glasgow, Scotland, taken on July 9, 2016
I like searching for murals around Glasgow and recently I finally found the five (only three shown here) under the Broomielaw rail bridge. I wonder what the characters were thinking…hmm! (See the original photo in colour.)
Leipzig, Germany, taken on July 20, 2015
During my travels last year with some friends, we encountered a street artist in Leipzig who was in the process of painting a gigantic piece of artwork on the ground, a potential masterpiece!
Colmar, France, taken on June 1, 2013
I really loved this piece of artwork on the pink wall of a building in Colmar. The details in the nesting birds and the architecture in the background are so delicate and striking that I couldn’t help but pay attention to its beauty.
Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, taken on November 11, 2013
Having lived in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium for a period of time, I became familiar with the various places where you could find wall art around the city. And there were many. This stretch of wall art was found in Place des Wallons, right by the student kots (student residences). It was a very surreal jungle of some sort, very bright and colourful. I gotta say I quite enjoyed walking by this huge mural to and from work every day. (Click here to read my dedicated post about wall art in Louvain-la-Neuve.)
