August 27, 2012 – Orange

I am trying to complete a colour series and so far I already have blue, green, purple, magenta, and now, orange. The windows above the Orange (telecommunication company) sign are lit up in bright orange every night – very suitable, no?

March 06, 2012 – Sunset

Now that the days are a little longer, one awesome thing about leaving the lab slightly later is that I get to see sunsets like this. My lab is positioned in such a way that I get a perfect view of the sunset, if I’m at the right place at the right time. Of course, that is if sun is ever present in Belgium. After an absence of about 10 days, the sun showed itself briefly today, and left behind a magnificent trail of rose and orange as it sank. It was quite beautiful, alright, and it almost seemed as if God was painting the sky Himself.
