The entrance to my office building leads to a set of stairs, which is…not where I go every day. I actually have to enter the door to the left of these stairs and go DOWN to the basement. Working in the dungeons…maybe I do have a secret lab down there.
When you look outside my office windows, the first thing you see is…grass. No, I’m not kidding. As our office is situated in the “basement” of a building, we’re at a rather low elevation and our window is at ground level. Hence, when you look out, you see the patch of grass that surrounds the building. At least we can get a decent view beyond the grass so that we don’t seem like we’re hidden in the underground all the time 😛
At the corner of the office board are some roses, a red blob with a white hard hat, and a note left behind by a previous occupant of the office (probably). I would probably miss you if I knew you… 😦
There are some interesting and funny posters displayed in my office and I found this “circuit” especially amusing. It reminded me of my friends in electrical engineering and also made me relive some painful memories of the circuits course that I took in my 3rd year undergrad. This one seemed much easier to handle though… 😉
Whose new office is this, mine? Nah, I got a “new” office, but that’s because it’s my “new” office upon joining the lab last week. This is my colleague’s office, a new one as he moved from a previous, more crowded one to a much nicer one. Enjoy your happy new office 😉
