Even though I rarely buy souvenirs for myself when I travel, I still love to window shop in souvenir and gift shops. These little things from Amsterdam were so cute that I almost wanted a set for myself 😉

Every spring, the gardens of Keukenhof are covered with seas of beautiful tulips and other types of flowers. The endless rows of blooming flowers are so stunning that you can’t help but wonder if you’re in paradise. Among the many varieties, my favourite one that I saw was the “Carnaval de Nice”, so intricate yet elegant. I wish I could take a bunch of them home!

A black windmill waves in the rainy air as a flock of birds travel beyond the skies. Windmills gave me my first impression of the Netherlands as a child, and what a calm feeling it adds to the Dutch landscape 🙂
