My mom really is the cutest. As I was looking at photos of her, an epiphany hit me, making me realize how much I miss her. As much as I feel that I can’t bare living with her anymore, I fear even more not ever seeing her again. Every second spent with her is cherished deeply.

Trip to my hometown in China turned out to be an unexpected reunion with a lot of people. One of the most anticipated arrivals was, of course, that of my mom, who was returning from HER hometown a few days ago. I had to go pick her up from the train station and even though her train was delayed by almost an hour, the wait was very much worth it as I embraced her after 5 months of departure from Toronto. I’ve missed you, mommy!
It’s been a while since I’ve tried to take a photo through a paper towel tube, and the subject of the photo today is…mom! Don’t be so grumpy, please!
