The frozen leaves after a snowstorm against a clear blue sky – oh, the weather outside was frightful, indeed!
A final hike with dad before he heads off to China, this time in Rouge Park (mom came along too, surprisingly). It was a perfect day to see the early fall colours, which have begun to appear everywhere in Toronto. Red and yellow and orange contrasted with the still dominating green and the blue sky – it couldn’t be a better trip. These parks will be an absolutely magnificent sight in a few weeks though, when the greens disappear…let’s see if I can make another trip here before I leave!
Autumn colours are gorgeous. Last year in late October, the Louvain-la-Neuve campus was covered by dancing leafs dressed in red, yellow, and orange, with barely a tint of green. It’s the beginning of October now and while the trees still haven’t yet shed their leafs, the colours are changing slowly, transforming the campus day by day.
