I was reminded of a line of lyrics from the song “Storytime” by Nightwish: “…a silent kite against the blue blue sky” though of course here it is a silent leaf.

My dear LS-san made me a rose out of leaves last time he visited Bordeaux. I remember he did the same when he visited Waterloo when I was in undergrad. I’m not sure how he does it, but it’s become a signature LS-style craft.
