Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, taken on August 4, 2012
Switzerland might be too perfect sometimes. The grass is a perfect hue of green and the atmosphere is perfect serenity. Lauterbrunnen is the “Valley of Waterfalls” and from a viewpoint, I was able to see the perfectly calm and lovely little village spread in front of my eyes. It might have been love at first sight.

Though I’m not sure if this guy was a shepherd, this scene always reminds me of Psalm 23: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.”

That early morning, the sun had broken out of its slumber before the world had awoken. From the clouds it emerged, bringing light and glory to another day.
August 05, 2012 – Breaking dawn
While the next destination in our Swiss trip was Zurich, I couldn’t resist the beauty of the breaking dawn as we boarded the morning train. It wasn’t as early as the train to Interlaken, but it seemed like the sun was still wrapped in its cloudy blanket above the roaring mountains.
