Strokkur, Iceland, taken on January 27, 2014
Looking at this photo, I imagined the sun as a jewel that had just been spit out of Strokkur (a famous geyser in Iceland), rising higher and higher as it escapes from its trap. Indeed, this is what Strokkur looked like right after an eruption, when water drops rapidly into the hole in the centre and the cycle starts over again. Seems like the geyser goes back to its calm sleep until it is awaken again, just in another few minutes.

Kerið, Iceland, taken on August 21, 2015
Kerið is an Icelandic masterpiece of nature. The colours of the volcanic crater accentuate and contrast with the clear aqua blue of the lake at the bottom, making it one of the most impressive stops on the Golden Circle.

Reykjavik, Iceland, taken on August 23, 2015
Whoever said Harpa (concert hall in Reykjavik) is “a photographer’s dream” is a genius. Geometry, colours, style, patterns, delicacy – you name it, Harpa has it. I almost didn’t think of entering the building, which would have become a huge regret (although I wouldn’t have known), but now, Harpa has become one of my favourite spots in Reykjavik. And I won’t hesitate going back to this city, this country that I love so much.
