Is it OK if as soon as I saw the word for this week’s challenge, I thought of the ridiculously succulent and delicious medium-rare beef filets that I had at L’Entrecôte?! That restaurant is a legend in Bordeaux. If you don’t have to wait more than half an hour to get into the restaurant, you’re lucky. The beef filets are the main course, but the mysterious sauce is the signature of L’Entrecôte. Oh, and unlimited fries can’t hurt!

I’m not a huge fan of sweets and desserts, but most of my friends are. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying the dazzling colours of the desserts on display at a bakery in La Rochelle. To me, they’re eye candy 😉

I only managed to go on a ride on the BatCub once before I left Bordeaux, and it was a quiet and leisurely ride on the Garonne. In the distance we see Pont Chaban-Delmas while a French flag waves proudly with the wind.

The only thing that appeals to me about macarons is their vibrant colours – otherwise they’re too sweet for my liking. However, would you still want one if they lost the colours that make them so attractive? :O (See the original photo in colour.)
