Jul 26, 2016 – [Tuesday] Black & White: Foggy Bordeaux

Bordeaux, France, taken on January 11, 2012

Fog has the power to transform an ordinary atmosphere into a trance-like scene. Waiting for the tram at the station in the afternoon, the blue sky has disappeared and became an invisible background, fused with the fog that showed no sign of retreat. The rails further down the tracks were barely visible. Were we waiting for a ghost train to arrive from the eleventh dimension, or have we been unknowingly swapped into Platform 9¾? (See the original photo in colour.)

Saint-Émilion is all about wine. The second wine bottle from the left holds the standard volume of 75 cL (750 mL), so imagine how huge the one to the far right must be! Oh, you crazy French people!

The couple engraved here seemed to be sharing an epic, fervent moment before their lips touched each other in a passionate kiss. Nice photobomb by guy in the back though 😛
