I love sculptures and I’ve seen a fair share of strange ones, like this kid…choking a goose? Maybe there’s a dark story behind it…who knows.

The rule of thirds is perhaps the first rule that I’ve ever learned when I decided to take photography a bit more seriously. I still use it quite often in my shots, but not exclusively as it limits creativity and range of composition. I think when I composed this shot of the moon above the Place de la Bourse in Bordeaux, I must have intentionally had the rule of thirds in mind.

Three birds were chilling at a bird bath in St. James Park in downtown Toronto on a hot summer day. I submitted this photo to the daily photo segment on Fairchild TV (a Chinese TV channel in Toronto) and surprisingly it made it on air. Maybe the smug expressions of the birds got the attention of the reviewers 😉
