Somewhere between Berlin and Leipzig, Germany, taken on July 18, 2015
On the way from Berlin to Leipzig, we passed by a gorgeous field of sunflowers and I grabbed my camera as quickly as possible to snap this photo. No blue skies like the ones near Royan and definitely not as close up, but appealing in its own rights 🙂
Keukenhof, Netherlands, taken on April 9, 2011
To me, nothing describes “vivid” better than the colours of Keukenhof. It had been a dream of mine to visit the Keukenhof gardens, and the dream came true within my first year in Europe. Being surrounded by more colours than one could count, all expressed in the beauty of nature, painted by God’s hand – what an amazing sight!

Now that the flowers on the tree outside my office building is almost in full bloom, we have some hope that spring is finally here in Scotland! As a result, I am quite happy every day as I walk by this tree. This is, of course, neglecting the fact that we had a day of four seasons (rain, snow, hail, sun, wind within the same day at 10-minute intervals) just a few days ago… 😛
