Hyde Park has a little rose garden where I could admire the beautiful colours of the flowers in bloom, if the weather is nice, that is. Seems like this little bee is out to enjoy the summer as well!

Every spring, the gardens of Keukenhof are covered with seas of beautiful tulips and other types of flowers. The endless rows of blooming flowers are so stunning that you can’t help but wonder if you’re in paradise. Among the many varieties, my favourite one that I saw was the “Carnaval de Nice”, so intricate yet elegant. I wish I could take a bunch of them home!

I’ve always thought that red and blue make a very striking contrast, especially when it’s a red (or pink) flower or plant of some sort against a clear, blue sky. And aside from its wine, beauty can be found anywhere in Saint-Émilion 🙂
