I only managed to go on a ride on the BatCub once before I left Bordeaux, and it was a quiet and leisurely ride on the Garonne. In the distance we see Pont Chaban-Delmas while a French flag waves proudly with the wind.

When you walk across the Rainbow Bridge at Niagara Falls from the Canadian side to the American side (or the other way around), there is a specific point where you “officially” cross the border. The two sides are marked by the flags of each country, and standing in between the two makes you feel like you’re in two countries simultaneously!
Mr. Beaver-on-my-Backpack has previously been featured on PW, about a year and a half ago. Now he has a new toy – the Canadian flag. I’ve wanted to attach one of these on my backpack for a while and finally got around to buying one when I was back in Canada. Patriotic or just “stylish”? 😉

The days are getting cold but that doesn’t stop the French flag from waving in the wind every day outside my window.
