The tower of the Main Building at the University of Glasgow looks so gorgeous among the fall colours. Nice view on the way to work!

I spent the autumn of 2011 in Louvain-la-Neuve and it was the first time I realized how magnificent the colours of the autumn foliage could be. It was also then that I fell in love with this season. Such beautiful flying leaves all over the campus!
The quest for the DVP rainbow brought me to Moccasin Trail Park, a secret gem among the hustle of the city. I’m so glad that the spur-of-the-moment urge took me to this place despite the slightly threatening cloudy weather – the park is amazingly gorgeous with the fall foliage in its full splendour! There was a short trail around an artificial (I think) pond with a perfect reflection of the beautiful season. I might even say that I liked this hike more than the one in Crothers Woods 😉
