Copenhagen, Denmark, taken on December 10, 2012

It’s not this time of year without some good ol’ festive Christmas markets! For the past 6 years, I’ve spent the Christmas season in Europe, where Christmas markets can be found in many cities and towns. Delicate gifts, good food, and warm mulled wine – perfect to counter the cold! Here’s one that I went to with my friend Ara four years ago in Copenhagen, Denmark. Madrid, Spain, taken on September 13, 2013

[Reposted because of image error in previous post.] Street performers often are able to transform themselves into art itself and their creativity is endless. (Side note: I had always thought the word “transmogrification” was used only in Harry Potter, but apparently…not. Thanks, WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge πŸ˜‰ )

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, taken on March 27, 2011

The visit to Luxembourg was more than five years ago, and I still remember looking down into the Grund district from the top of the city valley. The entire city is a huge valley and actually would be a fun place to play a huge game of hide-and-seek πŸ˜‰

Dinant, Belgium, taken on October 23, 2011

Perhaps not many people know about Dinant, but it is a real gem in Belgium. When I stepped out of the train at Dinant, I felt like I was dropped inside a fairy tale. Such a magical place! Next time you plan a trip to Belgium, consider Dinant instead of/in addition to Bruges πŸ˜‰
