London seems to be full of surprises and one other thing that I went to see recently was the Traffic Light Tree, a piece of public art near Canary Wharf. I was a bit confused – were the lights real signals for drivers? Turns out they weren’t, and the entire “tree” symbolizes the fast rhythm of the surrounding areas. How creative 🙂

The most recent trip to London included a stop at the St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, where I went specifically to see the East Window above the altar. The warped window design is reminiscent of a cross and while somewhat abstract, is strangely very aesthetically appealing.
