Doors Open Toronto is an annual event where buildings of architectural, historic, cultural, and social significance to the city of Toronto open their doors to the public. Last year when I went, One King West Hotel & Residence was one of the participants and in addition to opening its main doors, the doors to the underground vault was also open to be viewed.

“Doors Open Toronto” this weekend meant that many historic and cultural buildings in Toronto open their doors to the public. This is the Great Library in Osgoode Hall, home of the Law Society of Upper Canada. The whole space feels so luxurious, so solemn, and so magical, almost like a small version of the Hogwarts library.
