Anticipation is a form of motivation that drives me to go forward and gives me hope for a better tomorrow. There is always something that I am anticipating, making me feel that I am alive and that my heart is beating. Last month, I saw the most beautiful clouds after a sunset in St. Andrews with a dear friend. Though I am not sure when I will see him again, I am sure that I will, and I am already looking forward to the next visit. And that is the anticipation that keeps me optimistic until the reunion 🙂

Before landing in Beijing, near the border between China and Mongolia, the plane flew over majestic mountain ranges that stretched on for what seemed like forever. Such a grandiose sight and one of the reasons why I would always choose a window seat!
Isle of Lismore, Scotland, taken on September 4, 2016
The hike on the Isle of Lismore was blessed with the most perfect weather ever – even the clouds were dramatically gorgeous! At the beginning of the hike, I looked back as the ferry that brought me to the island departed for Oban again. What a beautiful day! (See the original photo in colour.)

As I was walking home from the university tonight I saw some of the most beautiful pink clouds ever – a flaming evening, indeed, though it was a bit chilly!
Toronto, Canada, taken on October 12, 2015
Nature is God’s work of art and often He shows us his amazing creativity. These beautiful cloud formations were His gift to my family during a long drive from Algonquin Park back to Toronto. Still a while to go, but at least there is a gorgeous view on the highway!
