Corniglia, Italy, taken on November 2, 2013
The way this photo was taken – in Corniglia, one of the villages in Cinque Terre, Italy – was completely unplanned. I think I put my camera on the ledge to photograph the cat, but made the mistake (a good one) of not adjusting the focus, consequently ending up with the focus on the man instead of the cat. Then somehow I caught the exact moment when the man was staring at the cat with a somewhat sly smile on his face. Unexpected, but I certainly liked how it turned out! I wonder what the man was thinking…and what the cat was thinking, sitting so close to that ledge. One careless step backward and he could have fallen down the cliff to his death…
Meow. Oh, you know, just another morning, chilling on the car like a boss. Go on, keep walking. Stop staring at me.
Alors, grumpy cat decided to appear in drawing on a notebook that LS gave me as a present. Don’t be so grumpy, please?
I noticed a cat crawl out of the window onto the roof of a restaurant as I was walking from home today. Oh, felines, how you amuse me.
(5th cat photo on PW 🙂 ) There are so many awesome cats in Louvain-la-Neuve, but this is the coolest one I’ve seen so far, this time around. I stepped out of the house and from a distance, it saw me and ran over to me, whispering the softest “meow” I’ve ever heard. Then it scurried off. It may look badass but on the contrary, it’s super gentle and adorable ❤
