About 4 years ago, I made a cheesecake for my friend’s son’s birthday and brought it to fellowship. I actually didn’t try it at all because I was too tired after the gathering and fell asleep, but general feedback was good 🙂 Lots of hearts were invested into the decoration of the cake – and lots of love too 🙂
The Chinese mid-autumn festival was two days ago, but we still had some moon cake left in the fridge. My favourite type would have to be the classic one with lotus paste and two salted eggs – quite heavy but so yummy!
Mom’s “official” birthday is March 3rd so my sister and I decided to get her a surprise mango mousse birthday cake, her favourite kind. I sneaked out in the name of “meeting with a friend”, picked up my sister from school, and off we went to get the cake. And surprised she was! Joyeux anniversaire 😉
First, last, and only food photo of the Italy trip to be featured on PW – tiramisu in Florence, a perfect end to a perfect dinner with lovely red wine and gigantic, succulent Florentine T-bone steak. Florence, I will be back!
Annie wanted to eat cake for dessert today, and so she did. It was conveniently achieved as there’s a bakery just downstairs. And cake is the best companion for Annie on a super saiyan thesis afternoon. Aller!
