I had just finished the task of making a cheesecake for a friend’s birthday, witnessed by the sister, but she didn’t seem to be too interested in the cake. Instead, she was enjoying the strawberries and chocolate that were leftover ingredients. In hindsight, she must have known that the cake actually didn’t taste too good…but it was the effort that counts, right? 😀

For a friend’s birthday many years back, I decided to try to make a cheesecake. Of course I was no cake-making expert and didn’t know much about the technicalities of making such a cake, so I called it a “quest”. And was it a success? At least it looked good, I think? After all, kiwis and strawberries are forever the unbeatable colour combo. In terms of taste, let’s just say…it could be improved, that’s all I remember! 😛
