Enjoying a cup of latte at the Mendelssohn House in Leipzig, Germany, while waiting for the others to finish the tour of the house 🙂
On this rainy afternoon, my dad and I revisited the coffee shop that we were at a few months ago. We sat at a table by the glass, where the design of the lighting made it so that shadows of words were cast on the table. And when I put my café au lait on the table, letters and words jumped in it. A coffee filled with words – makes you feel a little…fancy, maybe?
It’s been a while since I’ve sat down to read at my favourite café in Bordeaux, and that was exactly what I did today. I ordered a latte macchiato and sipped it slowly while enjoying the serene, romantic atmosphere of the café and immersing myself in reading. Alone. These are the most precious times.
