“100000 Questions Why” is one of my favourite Chinese book series as a child which answers scientific questions and explains natural phenomena in simple terms. The ones I liked as a kid were full of pictures and cartoons, and apparently I still have a word-based set at home. Time to brush up on my basic scientific knowledge!
May 25, 2014 – Osgoode
“Doors Open Toronto” this weekend meant that many historic and cultural buildings in Toronto open their doors to the public. This is the Great Library in Osgoode Hall, home of the Law Society of Upper Canada. The whole space feels so luxurious, so solemn, and so magical, almost like a small version of the Hogwarts library.
May 05, 2014 – Chapters
The touch and smell of new books is a strange guilty pleasure 😛 Every time I go to Chapters, I realize all over again how much I love spending time in bookstores.
