I’ve grown to love using the sky as a background, especially with a bright, radiant object like a flower. Red and blue look so beautiful together 😉

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen blue sky and white clouds. These were very rare in both Chengdu and Guangzhou, and I was more than delighted to be welcomed to a new day by such clarity. Even though this is a most typical shot of a French street, I couldn’t resist capturing the refreshing blueness of the sky 😉

Playing with light again, this time using my blue glowing mouse. When I first saw it I tried to imagine two blue crystals (with a bit of red) in the cup, suspended in air.
February 21, 2012 – Strawberries
Strawberries are one of the prettiest fruits. The complementary red and green go so well together, and on a blue plate, every colour stands out vibrantly. The red is so red, the green is so green, the blue is so blue. And the strawberries are so tasty!
