Don’t ask me why I went to AYCE Japanese food with Sherry again – sometimes you just get a craving for sushi and the proximity to AYCE makes it impossible NOT to go, especially on a class-free Friday for Sherry. We went for lunch today and it’s been one of the more above-average experiences, at least for me. Of course the aftermath following the final dessert order is always spectacular. (This is only about half of what we ordered for desserts, by the way.)
All-you-can-eat Korean barbecue is so indulgently delicious but so bad for our stomachs. The aftermath of the meal tends to be quite appalling – and this is only about 1/4 of the way in. I don’t think I want to eat meat for another week…
The first round of desserts at an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant involved something like 8 mango mousses, 5 tiramisus, 10 crèmes brûlées, and 7 durian mousses for 4 people. Ice cream followed. Of course the portion sizes were tiny, which was exactly why we ordered generously. As expected, the aftermath was glamourous.
