I’ve always thought that red and blue make a very striking contrast, especially when it’s a red (or pink) flower or plant of some sort against a clear, blue sky. And aside from its wine, beauty can be found anywhere in Saint-Émilion 🙂
Lisbon, Portugal, taken on April 29, 2013
As Mr.DS drove me across the 25 de Abril Bridge (which was an amazingly impressive structure), the statue of Christ the King (yes, inspired by Christ the Redeemer in Rio) stood on the other side as if guarding the city. That would definitely be a place to visit if I travel to Lisbon again.

What is a wanderer but one who seeks himself on an endless journey? Does the wanderer ever reach his destination?
Hong Kong, China, taken on August 15, 2010
One of my favourite photos taken from the air is this one as we were approaching Hong Kong. I don’t know what part of Hong Kong this is (or if it’s Hong Kong at all), but I loved the complement of the typical tall buildings in the urban aread with the big hills/mountains right in the middle. The whole scene almost looks like a miniature model of a city!
Chicago, USA, taken on April 18, 2009
I had the chance to visit Chicago when I did an internship in South Bend, and I had the impression that Chicago was similar to Toronto in some ways. The view of the city from the top of the Sears Tower was certainly spectacular.
