Aug 25, 2015 – [Tuesday] Black & White: Hallgrímskirkja

Reykjavik, Iceland, taken on August 23, 2015

Hallgrímskirkja – an iconic landmark in Reykjavik and one of the coolest-looking structures I’ve seen. I thought it looked like a spaceship or a Gaussian distribution, whereas others have described it as a phallic symbol. What do you think? (See the original photo in colour.)

Aug 18, 2015 – [Tuesday] Black & White: Eiffel from the Arc

Paris, France, taken on December 28, 2010

The night I first climbed the Arc de Triomphe, the fog enshrouded Ms.Eiffel in an air of mystery and gave me the perfect chance to take this shot (using my very primitive point-and-shoot). This is my favourite view of the “City of Lights” and of course my favourite high place in the city. (No “original” colour photo this time because the original was shot in black and white.)

Aug 04, 2015 – [Tuesday] Black & White: Ghent

Ghent, Belgium, taken on February 11, 2012

Having visited many Belgian cities, Ghent would have to be my second favourite after Brussels (sorry, no city takes the place of Brussels in my heart). The first visit left me speechless at its grandour and beauty, and the second and third awed me just the same. Some good things never change 🙂 (See the original photo in colour.)
