November 08, 2014 – Heads

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is the perfect place to be on a rainy day…which is every day. I went for the first time today, and it is impossible not to notice the huge “The Heads” exhibition in one of the halls. It’s essentially just a bunch of heads hanging from the ceiling on strings, each showcasing a different emotion. The theme is “expression”, and the reason is quite clear. I went upstairs for a view of this exhibition and interestingly the lighting illuminated one head in particular. Rather odd…but I liked it. I will be back.

October 30, 2014 – Irn-Bru

Geoff told me to try Irn-Bru, so I did. I got the sugar-free one by mistake though, bah. Let’s see…it tasted like generic brand soda that you can get at the vending machine at Price Choppers, does that about sum it up? I’m curious to see how popular it really is in Scotland though. Guess I’ll find that out in time. (Completely unrelated note: I’ve started writing in the TLP notebook, yay!)
