January 10, 2015 – Café

The beginning of a very relaxing (though slightly snowy) day began with a nice brunch at a nearby café that I had wanted to visit for a while. Now the question is…quiche or eggs benedict? 😉

January 08, 2015 – Seven eggs

It’s been a while since I’ve played around with eggs, so I thought I’d pick up a Sharpie and give each of these little guys a mark on their shells. One thing is very common in Glasgow – can you spot which one? 😉

January 06, 2015 – Sheep

I’m not sure if sheep are very abundant in Austria, but coin purses in the form of furry sheep were on sale at the little souvenir store in Hallstatt and I couldn’t resist getting one. Friends say the sheep looks smug. Can’t say they’re wrong, hah!

December 24, 2014 – Wheel

[Travel time] Day 1 in Prague, of course I had to visit the famous Charles Bridge. From the bridge at night, I saw a water wheel in the distance, rotating so peacefully and quietly away from the crowd on the bridge. Somehow that attracted my attention more than the bridge did, and made me very happy.

December 21, 2014 – Stalingrad

[Travel time] I don’t think I took many photos of this lion statue at Stalingrad tram station during the three years that I was in Bordeaux. Today was an unusually warm day with lots of sunshine, so I finally took some photos of the lion spitting out a ball of fire before having lunch with friends in open air.
