Isle of Mull, Scotland, taken on June 13, 2015
The Isle of Mull has some of the most amazing landscapes in Scotland. I rented an electric bike and cycled the top portion of the island, a journey that took 8 hours but was very, very worth the time and effort. At one point I felt like I was climbing a hill for more than an eternity without a summit to be seen and I was running out of breath while all of a sudden, I was there – at the top. Of course I had to take time to rest and enjoy the scenery. A luxurious breath of fresh air later, I was ready and on the bike again – time to freewheel down the hill and reap the reward of the climb! (See the original photo in colour.)
