Toronto, Canada, taken on October 16, 2014
Two years ago, I embarked on a very specific quest to find the rainbow on the Don Valley Parkway. It’s a secret landmark in Toronto that many people have seen while driving northbound on the DVP, but I was determined to find the exact place where it was hidden. It turns out that the rainbow bridge (or overpass, cave, whatever you’d like to call it) is found in Moccasin Trail Park, a tranquil little place that not many local Torontonians even know about. But success was mine, and I captured the rainbow, close up!

The idea of creating a colourful rainbow on the bridge was a great idea and gave the photographer an opportunity to create a lovely photo of a scene that would otherwise have been uninteresting and lacking focus.

Yes, a lovely addition to the city! Makes me happy too when I drive by it on the highway 😊
